A Quiet Moment

My step daughter got married in December 2012 and there was on particular picture that I really liked but I didn't like the background. I asked if she would mind me using it in a Digital Manipulation and she was delighted. The hem of her dress needs a little bit of a dryclean but otherwise I was happy with the result.

Recently I posted this Digital Manipulation on Facebook and invited my friends to tell me what they thought the message was, it was very interesting to say the least. I won't tell you what they said but would rather leave you to decide for yourself.

The client who ordered this book ordered 2 one each for her two daughters. Although they are pretty easy to do oneself the program My Photobook is available on line, but these pages are made like scrapbooking pages and done in Photoshop.

Child of the universe

Sometimes people ask me what inspires me and where do I begin when I start a digital manipulation. Everything inspires me but if I had to use one word to describe all my work it would be freedom. I rather enjoy the thought of being completely free to strip off all my clothes if I feel like it and to take in the universe any way that I want.



Who am I?

I didn't really have anything in mind when I started this but as things started to develope it made me think of all the people I know who hide behind their masks including myself. The past few years have been an intense journey of healing and a deep desire to be authentic and honest with myself and others as to who I really am.

Is there such a thing.

In this manipulation I was still working with my old program and not sure of how to do the layers. I think everyone has a palette of colour they like working with and I am not very good with autumn shades or peach. Seem to get stuck just the two colours.
